Ink Bead Mill

Ink bead mill is specially designed for printing inks, rotorgravue ink, screen printing ink, water-based printing ink, UV printing inks. There are two series of models RTSM-AD and RTSM-BD series, applied for different inks with different viscosity.

RTSM-AD is disc type bead mill, with special twist type grinding disc and disc distribution, it can perform D90<5micron and narrow size distribution.

RTSM-BD is pin type bead mill, and can be applied for high viscosity material up to 10000cps. So screen printing inks, or heavy anti-corrosion paint, we can use such type of bead mill. And it is possible to perform D90<3micron.

Both of AD and BD mill has adopted suspension arms, it will be very easy for the maintenance. There is no need to put the chamber on the floor, the suspension arm could hold the chamber so allow you the mill maintenance.

Both of the two series of bead mills has adopted nice cooling system. We have given up the traditional cooling method and now we use 2-3mm stainless steel plate cut by laser and the surface of chamber which contact the water directly will be fine grinding to ensure a smooth surface. Traditionally sand mill manufacturer use round steel to make the spiral circuit and will not fine polish the surface so the surface will not be smooth enough. When the surface that contact the cooling water is not smooth, water route will not form a “face” but line or point to point, thus the cooling area will be much smaller than the smooth surface. The smooth surface could ensure the cooling water route is “surface” shape so that the cooling effect will be much better.

The outer chamber of the bead mill is coated with anti-corrosion and solvent paint, many parts are using black zinc or color zinc handling ways to protect the bead mill from solvents and prolong the mill working life.
